The group uses data, housed in BLADE (its fan database), to create insights for the League to better know its fans and personalize communications for digital advertising campaigns. It is responsible for email communication, paid media, engagement marketing and quizzes, the Fan Access app, revenue analytics, ticket-buyer trend studies, and ticketing best practices.

remove add FINANCE Finance oversees, among other things, all aspects of financial reporting and controls relating to statutory requirements, banking, collective bargaining and business performance; Member Clubs and NHL pension and benefit plans; insurance and risk management on League-wide programs; and office and internal accounting services. The combine is directed at players who have a passion for the game and have DI, DIII, CIS or other amateur hockey experience. It consists of physical on-ice and off-ice testing along with hockey games. USA Hockey and Hockey Canada also offer officiating programs.
